Xiaomi, the Chinese company that has been making waves in the smartphone sector for a while now, is setting its sights on professional monitors and it's starting with an offering geared towards users who want to work with 4K content. The Xiaomi 27-inch 4K Professional Monitor features a 27-inch IPS display that can output 3840×2160 resolution at a 60Hz refresh rate. Its Pantone certification ensures accurate colors and Delta E <1 ensures true blacks.
The monitor has a P key to switch the color gamut according to different creative content requirements such as CG design, CAD, and darkroom mode.
Other display features include 100% sRGB color gamut for standard or basic workflows while 99% Adobe RGB & DCI-P53 covers more advanced tasks such as photo editing, video/film production, and animation programs. In addition, the display has 1.07 billion colors, supports DisPlayHDR 400 and DC dimming, and has passed the TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.
The Xiaomi 27-inch 4K Professional Monitor has a multi-function Type-C interface that supports both data transfer when connected to a laptop or computer and also charging at a maximum power of 90W.
In terms of connectivity, the monitor offers two HDMI ports, one DP 1.4 port, two USB Type-A ports, and a Type-C interface. The monitor also comes with a multi-function stand that allows pitching, lifting, tilting, and rotating in all directions.
Lastly, there is a new OSD design, which can change the menu interface when you rotate the screen.
The Xiaomi 27-inch 4K Professional Monitor is available to order in China at a presale price of 2,999 yuan (US$ 470 / Rs. 35,495 approx.), while the original price is 3499 yuan.
