Shortly after the launch of the VIVO iQOO Neo5 smartphone, a new VIVO smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench. The new smartphone carries the codename VIVO V2073A, and we can confirm that a smartphone with the exact same model number was spotted on the Google Play Console website not too long ago. Despite the model number which sort of keeps us in the dark about the exact series this smartphone belongs to, it is believed that this new device will be the VIVO iQOO Z3. This is judging from the ‘Z’ lines seen in the poster of the official teaser from the company.
From the information provided by Geekbench, this yet-to-be-launched smartphone will support 5G network connections and possess 8GB of RAM on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. However, the sighting on Google Play Console hints that there should be a 6GB RAM variant of the supposed iQOO Z3.
Other specifications revealed include the phone's display which is expected to be a FHD+ display with a 1080*2408 pixel resolution. Of course, it will be coming with Android version 11 on their proprietary OS. It is also expected to come with an impressive 55W super-fast charger, a significant upgrade from the 44W charger in the iQOO Z1.
For those who love to take a lot of pictures, they will be compensated as this device hopes to hoist three rear cameras sharing a 48-megapixel Sony IMX589 sensor primary camera to boost the quality of images taken with this device. While the front camera appears to be underneath the punch-hole cutout design placed at the top center of the display screen.
This smartphone which is set to take the title of the "latest iQOO smartphone" from the iQOO Neo5 (which was only released very recently) has no official launch date, however, rumour has it that it will be released on the 25th of March, 2021. This piece of information should be taken with high hopes as the company is yet to say anything official about the launch.
The company can be recalled to have other devices lined up to be launched in the near future. Devices such as the iQOO 7 Neo, iQOO Z3x and iQOO U3x. While iQOO 7 Neo, Z3 and Z3x are expected to have somewhat similar battery capacity, the U3x would be coming with a bigger power house.
The pricing and country of launch for the VIVO iQOO Z3 are uncertain for now, but speculations project a Chinese launch with a cost of around Rs. 25,000 based on the price of other smartphones with similar features and specs.
