There are lots of rumors surrounding Samsung's upcoming foldable smartphone. The company that's rumored to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip successor later this year is reportedly working on another foldable device, and unlike the current foldable smartphones in the market, this one will be a triple-fold tablet. According to the tipsters - GizmoChina and Yogesh, the device will be called the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Tab and is tipped to be launched in the first quarter of 2022.
Interestingly, the Galaxy Z Fold Tab was previously rumored to be released in 2021, however, it would seem that it was delayed due to the pandemic and the decision Samsung made to roll out the Galaxy Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip first. We may or may not see teasers of the Galaxy Z Fold Tab during their launch as it is still being debated by the Samsung marketing team.
The Galaxy Z Fold Tab will likely be a device whose screen is divided into three parts with two hinges between them that enables it to fold into itself to have the appearance of a smartphone.
Apart from the triple-folding capabilities, the Galaxy Fold Tab will come with enhanced support for the hybrid S Pen and reports also suggest that the Z Fold 3 will feature support for the innovative hybrid stylus. Galaxy Fold Tab will also feature the improved ultra-thin glass which will first be introduced in the Fold 3 later this year.
Other details of the Galaxy Fold Tab are currently unknown as the device is in its development stage, and with the final design of the device itself still yet to be finalized, there may be changes made to the information provided.
As we wait for more information on the Galaxy Z Fold Tab, we continue to look forward to the two foldable smartphones Samsung will be releasing this year— the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
