It has been rumored that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Buds 2 in August along with their foldable devices; Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and their smartwatch Galaxy Watch 4. Building up to the launch, the TWS earbuds have now appeared in leaked images that reveal its (purported) design and color options.
The Galaxy Buds 2 leaked images surfaced after its FCC certification a few days ago and they revealed its design to be similar to that of the Galaxy Buds Pro.
The earbuds will be made available in at least 4 colors— Black, White, Purple, and Green —and with the dual-tone color combination Samsung introduced for the Galaxy Buds 2, all color variants will have the inside of the case match the earbuds color while the case's exterior will be white.
The leaked images also reveal that the Galaxy Buds 2 has two LED charging indicators; one on the outside of the case and the other on the inside. The earbuds are rumored to have at least two microphones on the outer side of each earbud, with charging connectors and a wear detection sensor on the inner side.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 is expected to feature Bluetooth 5.0, wireless charging, capacitive touch controls, and AKG-tuned audio. According to rumors, Galaxy Buds 2 might not feature ANC and might pack smaller batteries compared to the Galaxy Buds Pro.
Samsung hasn't made any official announcement yet in regards to Galaxy Buds 2 but we expect more information to be made available before the launch in August.
