Alongside the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G smartphones, Samsung also introduced the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G, which serves as the high-end version of the new phones. The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ Infinity-O Display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an upgrade on the 90Hz refresh rate its predecessor A72 was launched with. It also has a pixel resolution of 1080×2400, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G processor with Adreno 642L GPU. Like the Galaxy A53 5G and A33 5G, the smartphone also has two storage options of 6GB RAM with 128GB and 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage, both of which can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD.
Samsung Galaxy A73 5G displays its superiority in the camera department as it features a quad-camera set-up that includes a 1008MP main camera with OIS accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro camera with LED flash. At its front, it packs the same 32MP camera in the A53 5G within a punch-hole notch.
In terms of connectivity, the A73 5G offers 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. It runs on Android 12 with Samsung One UI 4.1 out of the box and packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
