In an online event by Samsung, the company introduced three new smartphones in its Galaxy A series namely; Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, and Samsung Galaxy A73 5G. The Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G feature similar specifications, with the main differences being the display size and cameras. Samsung Galaxy A73 5G on the other hand is a high-end version of the two as it features a larger display, and a 108MP quad-camera set-up.
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner.
It is powered by Samsung's new Exynos 1280 processor with Mali-G68 GPU. The smartphone has two storage options of 6GB RAM with 128GB and 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage, both of which can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD.
In the camera department, Samsung Galaxy A53 5G features a quad-camera set-up consisting of a 64MP main camera with OIS accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro camera with LED flash. At its front, it houses a 32MP camera within a punch-hole notch.
In terms of connectivity, the A53 5G offers 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. It runs on Android 12 with Samsung One UI 4.1 out of the box and packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G features a similar display to the A53 5G with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display. It has 1080×2400 pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
It is also powered by Samsung's new Exynos 1280 processor with Mali-G68 GPU. The smartphone has two storage options of 6GB RAM with 128GB and 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage, both of which can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD.

Samsung Galaxy A53 and A33 5G Will be available in Black, White, Peach, and Blue colors.
The Galaxy A53 5G has a retail price of $449.99 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version while the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs €509 (US$ 56).
The smartphone will roll out in several countries globally from April 1st.
However, the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G has a starting price of €369 (US$ 408) and will roll out in several countries globally from April 22nd.
