Realme has launched its latest audio wearable, the Buds Q2 TWS earbuds in Pakistan and it will be taking over from its predecessor, Buds Q, which was launched last year. There are several improvements in the new true wireless earbuds with one of the most noticeable ones being the premium build of the Buds Q2 lightweight design, as it weighs just 4.1g.
The Buds Q2 didn't come with the preferred Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), rather, it features Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) which though it will undoubtedly help in delivering a better call quality, it will be somewhat lacking in the general audio experience.
While the Buds Q2 features IPX4 dust and waterproof rating which means they can be used during workout sessions and slight rainfall without any damage being done, the smart earbuds also retain some of the impressive features its predecessor had like the 20-hour total battery life, 10 minutes charge that provides up to 120 minutes of playback, and a 10mm bass boost driver with a sound enhancement which Realme calls Bass Boost+.
In terms of the operational design, the Buds Q2 utilizes a Kaleidoscope Lamination process on the touchpad which gives it a patterned feel. The touch panel allows for some gestures like play/pause and answering calls with a single tap on either bud and turning on/off of game mode with a long press on both buds simultaneously.
With Bluetooth 5.0 support and a wireless range of over 10 meters, the Buds Q2 can connect almost instantly to any device with Bluetooth. Available in Black and Blue colors, the Realme Buds Q2 is currently on sale on Realme Pakistan's website for Rs. 3,999 ($26) with the retail price being Rs. 5,999 ($38).
