OPPO recently launched a new mid-range smartphone in Japan called the Oppo Reno 5 A. The smartphone, which comes with a Snapdragon 765G processor and 6.5-inch LTPS LCD, will be the successor to the Oppo Reno 3 A that was released last year.
Oppo Reno 5 A features a 6.5-inch LTPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2400×1080 Pixel, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display offers 405 PPI, 1500: 1 contrast ratio, and 550 nits peak brightness.
On the left side of the display, there's a punch-hole notch that houses the 16MP selfie camera. On the rear, it packs a quad-camera setup that includes a 64MP primary shooter, an 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle unit, a 2MP monochrome sensor, and a 2MP macro snapper. The fingerprint sensor is also located at the back of the device.

Powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G SoC, Oppo Reno 5 A packs 6GB RAM coupled with a 128GB internal storage that can be extended with microSD. The smartphone runs on ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 and offers 5G, dual-band WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, QZSS) as connectivity options.
Oppo Reno 5 A comes with a 4,000mAh battery that supports up to 18W fast charging. The smartphone has an IP68 water and dust resistant rating.
