Less than a week after Motorola announced the Moto E40 as the latest smartphone in its E series, the budget smartphone has now been launched in India. It features a 6.5-inch HD+ MaxVision Display, UNISOC T700 SoC, and 4GB RAM.
The smartphone features a 6.5-inch HD+ MaxVision display with 720 x 1600 pixel resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, and up to 400 nits peak brightness.
It is powered by the UNISOC T700 SoC and packs 4GB RAM with 64GB storage that can be expanded via microSD.

The Moto E40 features a triple-camera set-up on its rear that includes a 48MP primary sensor that uses quad pixel tech accompanied by a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, it houses an 8MP selfie camera in a punch-hole notch.
It runs on Moto's MyUX based on Android 11 out of the box and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support which Motorola claims will last for two days on typical usage per one single full charge. The smartphone is also tipped to last for 76 hours of music streaming, 14 hours of video playback, and 10 hours of Web browsing. The smartphone can be charged via a USB-C port.

The Moto E40 will be available in Carbon Grey, Blue, and Pink Clay colors at a retail price of Rs. 9499 ($125.82) from Flipkart starting from October 17th.
