Honor has launched its Honor 60 series consisting of the Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro smartphones in an event in China. The smartphones in the series succeed the Honor 50 series that was released in June this year with better cameras (108MP triple-camera) and a slightly faster processor (Snapdragon 778G/Snapdragon 778G Plus).
The smartphones in the Honor 60 series feature a 6.78-inch OLED FHD+ display with 2652 x 1080 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage. They also come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Honor 60 smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G processor while the Honor 60 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset. The new mid-range smartphones pack 8GB/12GB RAM with 128GB/256GB internal storage that can be expanded via microSD.
At the rear, the Honor 60 Pro features a triple-camera set-up that includes a 108MP primary sensor accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The Honor 60 on the other hand features a triple-camera set-up that consists of a 108MP primary sensor accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
At the front, the Honor 60 Pro has a 50MP camera in a punch-hole notch while the Honor 60 comes with a 32MP front camera.

In terms of connectivity, both smartphones in the Honor 60 series offer 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C.
They run on Android 11 with Magic UI 5.0 and pack a 4800mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge fast charging support.
The HONOR 60 and HONOR 60 Pro are available in Starry Blue with a Diamond speckled finish, Pink, Green, and Black colors.

The Honor 60 8GB + 128GB has a retail price of 2699 yuan (US$ 423 / Rs. 31,745 approx.).
The 8GB + 256GB model has a retail price of 2999 yuan (US$ 470 / Rs. 35,250 approx.), While the top-end 12GB + 256GB version has a retail price of 3299 yuan (US$ 518 / Rs. 38,805 approx.).
The HONOR 60 Pro 8GB + 256GB model has a retail price of 3699 yuan (US$ 580 / Rs. 43,480 approx.) while the top-end 12GB + 256GB version has a retail price of 3999 yuan (US$ 628 / Rs. 47,000 approx.).
Both smartphones are available to order from today and will go on sale in China from December 10th. There is currently no information regarding the global roll-out yet.
