Google Pixel Buds A-Series Announced with Adaptive Sound Feature, Bluetooth 5.0 Fast Pair Technology, and In-Ear Pressure Reduction

Google has officially announced its new pair of True Wireless Earbuds, the Pixel Buds A-Series with Adaptive Sound feature, Bluetooth 5.0 Fast Pair technology and Google Assistant. At an affordable price of just $99, the Pixel Buds A-Series is a cheaper version of the Google Pixel Buds that was introduced last year.

Rumors of the Pixel Buds A-Series surfaced quite a few times on the internet including an accidental announcement by the official Android page on Twitter that was subsequently deleted. Many reports tipped the earbuds to support Google's new fast pair technology for a quick Bluetooth pairing experience and Google confirmed it to be true in their announcement.

With a custom-designed 12mm dynamic speaker, the Pixel Buds A-Series delivers a clear, full and natural sound to its users, and with the Bass Boost option, the earbuds offer a premium audio experience.

To make up for missing out on the Active Noise Cancellation feature that came with the Pixel Buds, the Pixel Buds A-Series is designed with a gentle seal and a shark fin-designed stabilizer arc that ensures a gentle, secure fit and passive noise cancellation.

Google has also added a spatial vent to the design of the Pixel Buds A-Series to reduce in-ear pressure to fully experience the range of the speaker's capabilities, especially in low frequencies without feeling any discomfort over a long period of wear.

A key feature in the Pixel Buds A-Series is the Adaptive Sound feature which automatically increases or decreases the volume depending on surrounding noise. If you're in a marketplace or a construction area, the Google Pixel Buds A-Series will automatically increase the volume to compensate for the loud noise.

The earbuds feature dual beamforming mics to ensure that your calls are of the clearest quality possible. It also comes with hands-free Google Assistant integration that can be activated with the simple "Hey Google" command.

Unlike the Pixel Buds, the Pixel Buds A-Series features touch control and not swipe controls. According to Google, the Pixel Buds A-Series has up to 5 hours of listening time, or up to 2.5 hours of talk time and 24 hours of listening time with the charging case or 12 hours of talk time with the charging case. The earbuds support fast charging so a 15 minutes charge can provide up to 3 hours of listening time.

The Pixel Buds A-Series doesn't have wireless charging unlike the Pixel Buds, and so you'd have to use the USB-C port on the charging case to charge the earbuds.

Google Pixel Buds A-Series Dark Olive

The Google Pixel Buds A-Series will be available in Cleary White with grey undertones and Dark Olive colors. It is priced at $99 (Rs. 7,230 approx.) and though pre-orders start today, it will go on sale from June 17.
